Cytology at EIV Diagnostics encompasses the preparation, staining, and expert interpretation of cellular specimens from a variety of sources including fine needle aspirates (FNA), body fluids, respiratory samples, and cervical/vaginal specimens (Pap tests). Our cytopathologists apply rigorous diagnostic criteria to detect malignancy, infection, and inflammatory conditions at an early stage.

We offer both conventional smear preparation and liquid-based cytology (LBC), with ancillary testing capabilities including cell blocks, immunocytochemistry, and molecular studies. This integrated approach ensures that cytologic diagnoses are both accurate and clinically actionable.

Rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) is available for FNA procedures to confirm specimen adequacy in real time, reducing the need for repeat procedures and improving patient experience.
